Speaker Marjorie L. Wingert is a wife, mom, speaker, author, blogger and ever-evolving pianist. Despite her B.A. degree in Music and Psychology and master’s degree in counseling, Wingert found herself redirected from a successful career in her 20s by a degenerative eye condition that would eventually render her blind. But God turned beauty from ashes by opening the door to a new season of life and ministry. She now "walks by faith and not by sight" through those doors as a writer of children's books and music, author of the Prayer Over Our Children Christian blog for parents, inspirational speaker and more. The essence of her heart is to encourage and inspire women to deeper relationship with God.

Pamela Tanner's vocal performance of "The Wind Beneath My Wings" was a blessing to many gathered at the Rock Church days after the Virginia Beach Municipal Center mass shooting in 2019. Watch the WVEC news segment, which includes a brief interview with her following her performance:
Tanner and her husband are also founders of RavensWay Foundation, whose mission is to provide meaningful experiences for children and adults with special needs or disabilities as they enjoy, learn, participate, and contribute to the community through Music Arts. They create concerts and music events that are safe-harbor designed and special needs friendly, so that individuals with disabilities and their families (caregivers) can relax and be themselves. These events will also provide an outlet for those with disabilities or special needs to showcase their musical talent as well. RavensWay also welcomes community organizations, businesses, and faith communities to become Partners. The Tanners can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
