Speaker Marjorie L. Wingert is a wife, mom, speaker, author, blogger and ever-evolving pianist. Despite her B.A. degree in Music and Psychology and master’s degree in counseling, Wingert found herself redirected from a successful career in her 20s by a degenerative eye condition that would eventually render her blind. But God turned beauty from ashes by opening the door to a new season of life and ministry. She now "walks by faith and not by sight" through those doors as a writer of children's books and music, author of the Prayer Over Our Children Christian blog for parents, inspirational speaker and more. The essence of her heart is to encourage and inspire women to deeper relationship with God.
